Unfortunately, babies cannot explain why they love their NUK Star so much. But we suspect it's the pleasant feeling in the mouth. On the top, it nestles very delicately on the palate.
The material of the soother is very thin in this soft zone and therefore particularly soft.
The natural shape of the NUK Star aids in the correct alignment and development of the jaw and teeth, confirmed by orthodontists.
Thanks to a comprehensive range of sizes, every little mouth will find the right soother. From newborns to toddlers over 18 months old. The large selection of colours and designs are appreciated by mothers.
For all of these reasons we call it the NUK Star, because it remains our classic with its shape, design and size. And for 99% of babies it's simply the best.
Latex baglet
Latex is a natural product which is characterised by its elasticity and flexibility, as well as high durability.
Latex soothers should be replaced every one to two months, or if they start to become sticky at the latest.
For the love of sustainability NUK has ensured that their soothers come with reusable packaging.
Sustainability is very important to us. We want to give parents the opportunity to continue using our packaging after unpacking it instead of throwing it away. The NUK soother therefore comes in a sturdy, reusable box that keeps the soother clean and protected. When you are out and about, baby's favorite companion will be protected from dirt and moisture. It is also suitable for steam sterilising.
NUK soothers are 100% made in Germany. Of course they are BPA-free and comply with the European safety standard EN1400.

NUK Pacifier FAQs
When should I change my child’s pacifier size and why?
When should I change my child’s pacifier size and why?
As baby grows, so does the size of their palate. Therefore, they require a larger pacifier baglet for proper soothing. NUK® offers pacifier sizes at every stage of development starting from Newborn to 36 months. We suggest you change your baby's pacifier size at 2 or 3, 6 and 18 months of age.
Round pacifier nipple vs asymmetrically-shaped pacifier nipple: why is asymmetrical better?
Round pacifier nipple vs asymmetrically-shaped pacifier nipple: why is asymmetrical better?
The original NUK® orthodontic nipple is asymmetrical to promote healthy oral development. Its natural shape mimics mom’s nipple while breastfeeding and the scoop bottom nipple allows for maximum tongue movement. NUK pacifiers also promote the natural development of baby's teeth and jaw through integrated channels on the orthodontic nipple that reduce jaw and palate pressure.
What do I need to know about pacifier hygiene?
What do I need to know about pacifier hygiene?
Before your baby uses a new NUK® pacifier for the first time, sanitise the pacifier by boiling it in water for 5 minutes. For daily cleaning, wash with hot water and mild detergent, then rinse clean. NUK pacifiers are dishwasher-safe, top rack only. Water may get inside the nipple during cleaning, and can be removed by squeezing the nipple. For hygiene and safety, replace pacifiers after 2 months of use.
How often should I replace my pacifier?
How often should I replace my pacifier?
For hygiene and safety reasons, we recommend replacing pacifiers after 2 months or if any tears or cracks appear.
