Description
Description
NUK Perfect Match Hospital Premature Teat is designed for early babies and is intended for feeding formula/medium feed liquid.
The new feeding teat system from NUK with a teat made from extremely soft silicone. The new velvety-soft material moulds itself individually to Baby’s mouth and palate, a material that almost feels like skin. Allowing the teat to take on the shape needed by the child. Another new feature is the flowing shape of the teat so babies can find the right position that enables them to latch on with their mouth wide open.
The teat provides maximum contact for Baby’s lips and matches the standard thread of feeding bottles for use at hospitals. The invisible valve in the flange of the teat provides the anti-colic function to ensure a smooth flow of food at all times.
This teat is suitable for premature babies, parents of full-term babies are advised to look at our full term range.

How can I help prevent colic when bottle feeding?
How can I help prevent colic when bottle feeding?
Make sure that you
are choosing a bottle with an anti-colic feature. All NUK bottles feature an innovative Anti-Colic vent system which helps to reduce the risk of infant colic. The valve allows air into the bottle during feeding which prevents an air vacuum and allows baby to feed continuously without swallowing air. In addition, always ensure your baby has a good seal around the nipple to prevent baby from swallowing air from the sides of their mouth.
What is the difference between latex and silicone teats?
What is the difference between latex and silicone teats?
Both materials have their own special characteristics.
NUK® silicone teats are made of a high-quality polymer synthetic material. This transparent silicone is heat and age-resistant and very easy to clean.
Latex is a natural rubber product that is flexible, bite and tear-resistant. Since latex is a natural material, edible fats and exposure to direct sunlight may age it somewhat quicker than silicone.
