NUK for Nature Soothers, the first environmentally sustainable soother.
Natural soothes best. That's why we use more than 98% natural raw materials for our NUK for Nature Soother. For the firm parts, we use sustainable plastic. The natural origin is independently certified. The soft teat is made of purely natural rubber. A purely plant-based, renewable raw material, which is very soft and warm and is particularly flexible.
But NUK for Nature also means that sustainability does not stop with the soother. That is why we pack it in 100% FSC-certified paper that can be easily put in the paper recycle bin. And to make the footprint even smaller, everything from its raw materials to its production uses renewable energy which is optimised to be climate-friendly. And we take it even further by working every day to become even more natural and sustainable.
Features:
- Climate-conscious product
- Produced in a resource-saving manner with green electricity
- CO 2 reduced and energy efficiently manufactured for real mini footprints
- Original NUK Form inspired by nature
- Breastfeeding is friendly and accepted by 95% of babies
- Recommended by medical experts
- BPA free
- 2 per pack
- Packaging made from 100% recyclable paper
The original NUK shape is also inspired by nature: round at the top and flat underneath. So the NUK for Nature soother nestles against the palate and leaves room for the tongue. It is also accepted by 95% of babies, and is particularly breastfeeding friendly and does not cause misalignment of the teeth or jaws.
For these and many other reasons, the NUK for Nature Soother is the recommendation of medical experts and the favourite of climate-conscious parents.
This plastic is 100% linked to renewable raw materials. Compliant with the mass balance approach and certified by ISCC PLUS.

The Pacifier Study

NUK Pacifier FAQs
When should I change my child’s pacifier size and why?
When should I change my child’s pacifier size and why?
As baby grows, so does the size of their palate. Therefore, they require a larger pacifier baglet for proper soothing. NUK® offers pacifier sizes at every stage of development starting from Newborn to 36 months. We suggest you change your baby's pacifier size at 2 or 3, 6 and 18 months of age.
Round pacifier nipple vs asymmetrically-shaped pacifier nipple: why is asymmetrical better?
Round pacifier nipple vs asymmetrically-shaped pacifier nipple: why is asymmetrical better?
The original NUK® orthodontic nipple is asymmetrical to promote healthy oral development. Its natural shape mimics mom’s nipple while breastfeeding and the scoop bottom nipple allows for maximum tongue movement. NUK pacifiers also promote the natural development of baby's teeth and jaw through integrated channels on the orthodontic nipple that reduce jaw and palate pressure.
What do I need to know about pacifier hygiene?
What do I need to know about pacifier hygiene?
Before your baby uses a new NUK® pacifier for the first time, sanitise the pacifier by boiling it in water for 5 minutes. For daily cleaning, wash with hot water and mild detergent, then rinse clean. NUK pacifiers are dishwasher-safe, top rack only. Water may get inside the nipple during cleaning, and can be removed by squeezing the nipple. For hygiene and safety, replace pacifiers after 2 months of use.
How often should I replace my pacifier?
How often should I replace my pacifier?
For hygiene and safety reasons, we recommend replacing pacifiers after 2 months or if any tears or cracks appear.
