The NUK Classic orthodontic teat
Description
Description
Particularly small and soft, the NUK Perfect Match Air Mini Soother offers unparalleled lightness for soothing. It leaves plenty of room for the tongue for its natural sucking movements, and its ultra-soft material delicately molds to your baby's palate.
Thanks to its innovative butterfly shape, the NUK Perfect Match Air ensures minimal contact with baby's delicate skin. Its very large openings allow sensitive skin to breathe, helping to prevent drool rashes.
For healthy teeth and jaw development*, the NUK Perfect Match Air supports your baby's natural oral development.

Recommended by experts: NUK Soothers soothe even better than before
As the healthy overall development of your baby is very important to us, we would like every NUK baby to have a soothers that is close to nature and right for the jaw. Through the further development of the NUK original shape that is right for the jaw and in line with the latest medical findings, the NUK soother soothes better than ever before, as breastfed babies accept this pacifier too because of its familiar shape. Breastfeeding mothers have confirmed to us that the NUK Soother does not affect breastfeeding*.
In addition, NUK Soothers do not cause crooked teeth or jaw misalignment. This is ensured by the narrow, flat and thin baglet. It minimizes the pressure on the little teeth and the jaw one more reason why the new NUK Soother is equally appreciated and recommended by midwives, pediatricians and orthodontists.
Thus 100% of the orthodontists surveyed confirm that the proven NUK Soother does not cause crooked teeth or jaw misalignment**. 90% of the mothers recommend it further and 92% of breastfeeding mothers confirm that the NUK Perfect Match Air Soother does not affect breastfeeding*.

NUK Pacifier FAQs
When should I change my child’s pacifier size and why?
When should I change my child’s pacifier size and why?
As baby grows, so does the size of their palate. Therefore, they require a larger pacifier baglet for proper soothing. NUK® offers pacifier sizes at every stage of development starting from Newborn to 36 months. We suggest you change your baby's pacifier size at 2 or 3, 6 and 18 months of age.
Round pacifier nipple vs asymmetrically-shaped pacifier nipple: why is asymmetrical better?
Round pacifier nipple vs asymmetrically-shaped pacifier nipple: why is asymmetrical better?
The original NUK® orthodontic nipple is asymmetrical to promote healthy oral development. Its natural shape mimics mom’s nipple while breastfeeding and the scoop bottom nipple allows for maximum tongue movement. NUK pacifiers also promote the natural development of baby's teeth and jaw through integrated channels on the orthodontic nipple that reduce jaw and palate pressure.
What do I need to know about pacifier hygiene?
What do I need to know about pacifier hygiene?
Before your baby uses a new NUK® pacifier for the first time, sanitise the pacifier by boiling it in water for 5 minutes. For daily cleaning, wash with hot water and mild detergent, then rinse clean. NUK pacifiers are dishwasher-safe, top rack only. Water may get inside the nipple during cleaning, and can be removed by squeezing the nipple. For hygiene and safety, replace pacifiers after 2 months of use.
How often should I replace my pacifier?
How often should I replace my pacifier?
For hygiene and safety reasons, we recommend replacing pacifiers after 2 months or if any tears or cracks appear.
