Cry Detection is a new notification type on Owlet Cam 2. When selected, mobile devices will receive a notification when crying is detected by the Owlet device.
- Video clips can be captured with every cry detection notification you receive by selecting the “Capture a Video Clip” under Cry Detection.
How do I get cry detection notifications?
- Ensure that Cry Detection is enabled in the Notification Settings
- You can verify this by navigating to the Owlet Devices under the Account tab, selecting the Owlet Cam 2, and then Notifications.
- Ensure that your mobile device has Cam Notifications enabled
Why am I not getting CRY notifications ?
If your mobile phone is not receiving notifications, check the following:
1.) Ensure that Cry Detection is enabled in the Notification Settings
- You can verify this by navigating to the Owlet Devices under the Account tab, selecting the Owlet Cam 2, and then Notifications.
AND
2.) That your phone has Cam Notifications enabled on the home page
